Australian
Certificate Attestation in UAE
Attesting your Australian documents typically
involves four steps. These are:
Notarization: This is when the Notary Public in
Australia witnesses the certificates issued. If the documents are deemed
genuine, they’re stamped with a notary seal.
Authentication: Once your documents have been
notarized, they then need to be authenticated. For this, Benchmark Attestation
Team will send them to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) for
further verification. The authentication proof will be attached to the
documents.
Legalization: Next, our team will send the documents
to the UAE Consulate or Embassy in Canberra to verify the seal, stamp, and
signature provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the
Notary Public. Once this is done, the documents will carry an attachment to the
certificate of legalization.
Attestation: Finally, the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs (MOFA) in UAE will attest the documents that have been authenticated,
notarized, and legalized by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)
Notary Public, and UAE Embassy. This brings the attestation process to an end.
You can now receive your attested (aka “legalized”) certificates and use them
for relevant purposes.
